Think you’ve got October planned? There might be a new event worth checking out this month in and around Teravista! With the fall festival circuit in full effect, there is sure to be something for everyone. Here are a few of our favorites…

October 5, 7-9pm  |  Free
Alaska Cruise Night
Teravista Resident’s Club, 4211 Teravista Club Dr Round Rock, TX 78665
Residents Tiel and Jeff McKee with Dream Vacations- My Sweet Vacations will host Cruise Night with Andrew from Holland America Line. He will be introducing top places on an Alaska cruise, where you’ll encounter massive tidewater glaciers, iconic wildlife, Klondike Gold Rush history and fascinating Native Alaskan cultures. You will learn everything there is to know and more about what to expect on your Alaska cruise adventure at this exciting event from 7 – 9pm at the Teravista Residents’ Clubhouse.

Round Rock Chalk Walk
Centennial Plaza, 301 W Bagdad Ave, Round Rock, TX 78664
This highly anticipated event is back once again! The Round Rock Arts’ Chalk Walk brings in thousands of locals who enjoy the art of chalk paintings and love the opportunity to try their hand at it too! In addition to admiring the art and talented artists, guests of the Chalk Walk experience musicians, vocal groups, theatrical performances, food and drinks, and children’s performances by local organizations and schools.

Clayman Rodeo
Windsong Farm, 2401 Southwestern Blvd, Georgetown, TX 78626
On October 7, the Clayman Rodeo is back in (George)town. Fun for the entire family, the event will also include team roping, barrel racing, pole bending and more. It will be held in any weather conditions; in case of rain, it will take place in the Windsong Farm Indoor Arena. Tickets ($8 adults, $5 children aged 10 and younger) can be bought at the gate.

Outlaw Trail Cycling Tour
Old Settlers Park, 3300 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78665
Enjoy cycling? If so, be sure to mark your calendar for the 31st annual Outlaw Trail Cycling Tour and choose between 10, 25, 40, 50 and 60 mile courses through the historic Williamson County. To register ($40 early registration before October 8) for the event, which will take place on October 14 starting in Old Settlers Park, please visit the Round Rock Parks and Recreation website.

October 20 – November 26  |  $32/adult
Georgetown Palace Theatre, 810 S Austin Ave, Georgetown, TX 78626
Georgetown Palace Theatre presents Annie, a multiple Tony Award-winning Broadway musical which in turn is based on Harold Gray’s Little Orphan Annie. You can catch the musical and enjoy legendary songs such “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” “I Don’t Need Anything But You” and “Tomorrow,” from October 20 to November 26. Tickets ($32 adults) can be bought through the Theatre’s website and at the box office.

Lighthouse Festival
Teravista Elementary School, 4419 Teravista Club Dr, Round Rock, TX 78665
The Teravista Elementary Parent Teacher Association is hosting their 4th annual Lighthouse Festival on Saturday October 21st on campus. This fundraising event is open to all Teravista Elementary families and their friends and special discounts for games, food and activities will be given to PTA members. Their silent auction is always a huge hit and REALTOR® Jason Taylor will have amazing prizes for 3 lucky winners of the auction drawing!

Cattleman’s Ball

On October 21, the Sheraton Georgetown will host the 6th annual Cattleman’s Ball featuring dinner, dance, silent auction, poker and more. As always, this year’s gala will benefit the Williamson Museum’s educational program. For tickets ($100 per person) and tables ($1000 per table), go to the Williamson Museum website.

Blacklight Yoga Party

Teravista HOA Fall Festival and Chili Cook-Off

What better way to kick off fall than with a warm bowl of chili? The Teravista HOA is hosting their annual fall festival & chili cook-off with crowd favorite booths, games, face painting, free food, and a costume contest! The contest categories include best, cutest and scariest so come dressed to impress your neighbors. Then make your way to sample some of the best chili recipes from around the neighborhood and cast your vote for your favorite. The fall festival is open to Teravista residents.

Arts & Crafts Festival
Cedar Park Recreation Center, 1435 Main St, Cedar Park, TX 78613
Can’t wait to start shopping for the holidays? Looking for a unique item for your home decor? Then you can’t miss the Arts & Crafts Festival which will be held at the Recreation Center in Cedar Park on October 28. Admission is free.

Fall Fun Festival
Old Settlers Park, 3300 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78665
Round Rock Parks and Recreation presents the 2017 Fall Fun Festival which will be loaded with fun events for the entire family and especially for the youngest ones: carnival games, storytime, hayrides and much, much more. The event, which will take place in Old Settlers Park on October 31 is free, however, visitors are kindly asked to bring at least one canned item for the Round Rock Serving Center.
