All kinds of fun things to do in and around Teravista this first month of fall! We’ve rounded up a few local events to add to your September calendar…

September 8 – October 1 | Tickets $15+
“You Can’t Do That, Dan Moody!”
Historic Williamson County Courthouse on the Georgetown Square.  710 S. Main Street Georgetown, TX 78626
Georgetown Palace Theatre presents “You Can’t Do That, Dan Moody!” telling the story of Georgetown District Attorney Dan Moody when he tried the infamous white-cloaked gang. The play will be held at the Williamson County Courthouse which was the site of the original trials in the 1920s. For tickets (from $15 General Seating Balcony), please visit the Georgetown Palace Theatre’s website.

September 9, 8am – 1pm | Free admission
Teravista Community-Wide Garage Sale
Various locations around Teravista
The fall community-wide garage sale is a big one! Buy or sell your goods from 8am – 1pm on Saturday, September 9th. To be registered on the map, visit the Community Association Office.

September 16, 8:30pm | Free
Movie in the Park “Beauty and the Beast”
Wildflower Park, 1000 Wildflower Park Drive, Georgetown, TX 78626
Bring your blankets and chairs and get comfortable on the lawn at Wildflower Park as the HOA serves up popcorn while you watch Beauty and the Beast on the big screen.

September 17  |  Free
Austin Museum Day
Various museums throughout Austin
Visit Austin History Museum, Austin Toy Museum, Bullock Texas State History Museum, Science Mill, The Contemporary Austin or any other from nearly 50 participating museums around the Texas capital that will open their exhibits for free during the Austin Museum Day.

Royal Caribbean Cruise Night
Teravista Resident’s Club, 4211 Teravista Club Dr Round Rock, TX 78665
Resident Tiel McKee with Dream Vacations- My Sweet Vacations will host Cruise Night with Jeannie from Royal Caribbean International. She will be introducing top destinations, onboard programs, as well as the RCI fleet of ships, including the new ships arriving in Galveston! Whether you’re an experienced or first-time cruiser, you won’t want to miss this exciting event from 7 – 9pm at the Teravista Residents’ Clubhouse.

September 22-23  |  $10 pre-registration
Family Campout/National Hunting and Fishing Day
Old Settlers Park, 3300 Palm Valley Blvd. Round Rock, TX 78664
Take part of one of the most beloved family events this fall and enjoy a range of fun activities and games before falling asleep under the stars in Old Settlers Park on September 22. After breakfast the next day, the family fun continues as the National Hunting and Fishing Day will take place in Old Settlers Park as well. To register, please visit the City of Round Rock Parks and Recreation’s website.

Teravista Annual Wine Tour
Various wineries
Join your neighbors as we hop on a tour bus to visit Flat Creek Winery and Messina Hof Winery in beautiful Texas Hill Country! Seating is limited so make sure you purchase your tickets at the Community Association Office beforehand.

September 29- October 28  |  Free
2017 Art Hop
Georgetown Art Center, 816 S Main St, Georgetown, TX 78626
From September 29 to October 28, the Georgetown Art Center will host the 2017 Art Hop, the 10th annual art competition which is open to all Texas artists above the age of 16. Admission is free to the exhibits of the competing artworks which will also be displayed at the Georgetown Public Library.

September 30  |  $25
Georgetown Wine and Music Festival
Georgetown Square, 710 S Main St, Georgetown, TX 78626
Wine lovers should mark their calendar for the annual Georgetown Wine and Music Festival and take advantage of the unique opportunity to taste wines of some of the finest local wineries while enjoying live music, great food and shopping on the Square. For tickets ($25 online), visit the Georgetown Downtown Association’s website.
